Asus Zenfone 8 teaser hints at a farewell to the flippy camera

Asus has teased a punch-hole cutout because of the Zenfone 8 show.

This could be a significant departure from the previous reverse camera apparatus.

Asus created a dash back in 2019 using all the Zenfone 6, now offering a flagship using a unique turning camera mechanism. This switching setup lets you shoot selfies together with the back cameras while also allowing a suitable full-screen encounter.

The business followed the identical formula for the past season’s Zenfone 7 scope, but it appears like Asus is hinting in a more conventional camera setup to your Zenfone 8 household. The company posted a movie online, revealing a telephone design using a punch-hole cutout (see the screenshot above) while still hinting at a high refresh rate display.

It is uncertain if that punch-hole cutout will look on all Zenfone 8 apparatus or simply the”miniature” version. However, it sure sounds like Asus is discussing the mini/compact variant at the very least.

But, the switching camera setup was an officially practical attribute, allowing for high-quality selfies and selfie movies and allowing panoramas without transferring the telephone. However, one of the downsides to this eclectic layout is that water immunity is a huge challenge. We expect Asus provides a strong IP score if it is likely to forego the flippy camera.

Can you ditch the Zenfone’s flippy camera to get water resistance?

Additionally, it is theoretically possible that this is simply a placeholder design instead of representing the last item. We saw Asus ship a phone-shaped plastic cutout as part of media invitations to its Zenfone 8 launching, which did not possess a punch-hole cutout. So we will only need to wait till May 12 to find the official specifics.

Can you ditch the Zenfone household’s turning camera setup in the event the telephones got water resistance rather? Inform us through the questionnaire above.
