AirPods Pro and AirPods Max can now be found by Find My Network
With the addition of presenting AirTags, Apple enlarged its vision in the Find My feature to use its iPhone and its Bluetooth radio to pinpoint
the lost devices. In the new Find My network, the search is possible with other users, iPhones,iPads, and Macs searching for a lost device, though the searching device must have the same feature enabled on their product. Though it took time for the feature to be realized, Apple kept its words to AirPods Pro and Max with iOS 15.
Although you can find your Airpods with the Find My app, it still has its conditions. One of them is you can only search within the Bluetooth range and should be on the guestlist where you may think it is. So if you have no idea where your device might be while travelling outside, then its upto your luck.
With the latest feature of AirPods Pro and AirPods Max, its much easier to find the lost device with other support. If they are in the range of the lost device, the users whose phone has the Find My Network will notify the owner. No need to say your Lost Mode has to be on at that time. Better don’t forget.
The update refreshes the Find My App while finding for closer Airpods. The app UI will look similar to the Airtags Find Nearby screen since no directions are indicated cause we don’t have The U1 Ultra-Wideband chip. Instead, it gives you a vague location of how distance you are from the buds.
To use these advanced features, you need the latest AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. But, of course, Thats bound to happen anyway since the update can be done without triggering manually.
